Are you searching for that elusive Christmas present for a loved one?
Le Prieuré at Pressigny, a stunning 14th century fortified house with a mediaeval tower, (if you haven’t yet explored the website), is dressing for Christmas and offering a truly magical event. Arriving to a candlelit garden, you will enjoy festive drinks around the sunken fire pit in the exquisite setting of the walled garden. A glowing candle lit room decorated for Christmas, with a fire crackling away in the massive 15th century fireplace awaits. Chef Brad will present a delicious Medieval Christmas Feast to the guests. With just eight guests each evening, carefully researched recipes from some of France’s most famous chateaux will arrive on the table.
Guests have the choice of dining with six friends or may choose to join six other guests at the table and make new friends in this lovely setting. After a delicious meal with delightful company, guests will stay the night in one of the gloriously comfortable beds at Le Prieuré, and in the morning enjoy a delicious breakfast in the dining room. After breakfast, walk through the lovely wooded valley or curl up with a book in front of the cosy log fire in the drawing room, the aroma of our carefully selected coffee adding to the lovely sights and scents of Christmas that fill the house.
Chef Brad has cooked for the Queen and many members of the royal family as well as international dignitaries when he worked on the Royal Yacht, at Admiralty House and Buckingham Palace.
We are limiting the special evenings to the following December dates:
5th 6th and 7th December;
12th, 13th and 14th December;
19th, 20th and 21st December.
Prices start at 250 euros per couple for dinner, bed and breakfast rising to 300 per couple for dinner, bed and breakfast in an en suite bedroom.
With roaring log fires, candlelit rooms and beautiful decorations, you will have a real night to remember. Our beautiful bedrooms will be decorated for Christmas. With four poster beds, testers and stunning embroidered silks over the beds and at the windows, whichever bedroom you choose, it will be a real treat for that special person in your life!
