Fine Dining

At Le Prieuré and La Tour we love great tasting food, from whatever region of the world! With a team who have lived in diverse corners of the planet, we have many cuisines to call on for inspiration in the delicious dishes on offer. With a plan to restore the old walled potager over the winter, next year we will be able to offer guests fine dining with fresh vegetables and delicious fruit straight from the garden at Le Prieuré.

Amazing food from a Top chef

It is a delight that Chef Neil Gibbs is joining the team at Le Prieuré where he will be creating dishes especially for guests at La Prieuré and La Tour.  A former Royal Marine, Neil trained under Gary Rhodes and has worked in a number of prestigious restaurants, including Cliveden in Buckinghamshire. He achieved acclaim as Head Chef at The Night Jar in Devon and he owned his own restaurant in Bordeaux for five years.  With a passion for growing fresh vegetables as well as creating delicious dishes from them, Neil delights in giving guests a choice of seasonal dishes from traditional French to those inspired from international cuisines.



Enjoy a delicious continental breakfast in the garden from spring to autumn! With light as a feather French pastries, local and home made bread, seasonal fruit, yoghurts, homemade granola, and a selection of preserves, many made at Le Prieure, as well as a choice  of teas and coffee you will be set for the day!


Afternoon Tea

Delicate sandwiches, delicious pastries and a selection of teas served in the garden or the drawing room, depending on the season.

Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner bookings require 24 hours cancellation notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking will require payment in full.


Relax and Enjoy

Guests really wanting to relax on holiday can take advantage of a break from cooking and enjoy a choice of inspired breakfasts,  afternoon teas and fine dining.
